Time to be brave enough to make a political statement with trucks.......

As a current broker and a former O/O, its time to start making noise for our politicians. At $108 a barrel or $4.00+ per gallon, however you'd like to look at it, it's time. What is it time for? It's time to quit participating in the screw-job that is being forced on us by OPEC contries and our current representitives, Repubs or Demoncats. I'm not calling for a strike, I'm saying that everyone out there, brokers and O/O's alike, just simply quit for a few weeks. I'm going to go to the Pizza shop in front of my house and deliver pizza's for a few days, for extra money. But, as an AMERICAN, I have come to realize the real responsibility that our founders were talking about when they wrote the Declaration of Independence. We ALL have a responsibility to our fellow citizens and famililies, even if they are too ignorant to understand what we are doing. But it is time to make a statement. Being an election year, it couldn't happen at a better time. Fuel haulers will quit a few days behind us, if the tanks are full at the truck stops. But as of today, I'm done for a few weeks. And I don't blame drivers, other brokers, or even the shippers; I blame our bought-off, paid-off, crooked, stab-you-in-your-american-pocketbook, politicians. It's time to make the statement that needs to be made. Park it if your a truck, and don't book it if your a broker. Shippers, drive it there in your pick-up trucks.
