Apparently a lot of my shippers are. We left 18 loads last week sit from Ga/Tn to Jax.Fl and all got moved no problem and shipper direct,...got 'em all done for $1.40 or less from there to Florida. Makes people like me look very stupid, for me telling him no way in hell we could even come close to touching that and yet...he's getting it done like it's going out of style. Remember nothing changes and rates don't go up, as long as idiots are hauling it!

Speaking of cheap!!!!!
Tampa &/or Palmetto, FL going to Jessup, MD. Posted for $1800.00 from Manatee logistics. Now they pay gross so lets do the math
$1800.00
-180.00 10% brokerage
= $1620.00 to the truck with out a advance if you would need a comcheck
= $1584.00 with advance
Now the miles would be about (NO LESS) 1,000 miles, so @ most $1.62 a mile to the carrier! With the price of fuel @ about $3.95 avg and a truck that gets great fuel milage the carrier will clear just after fuel cost $962.00. Now what if there is unloading? Much less if they need a advance for fuel!
WOW is all I can say and the sadest thing is they are covering them
