Am I missing something? From what I have read and I could be wrong but overwhelmingly truckers voted for bush. So the whinny truckers are doing a tantrum over what they voted for. Grow up and accept the consequences for your stupidity. Learn to read before voting would be a good first start. Oh yes and learn to think.

I care about the people of this country. I want to see Oil companies
lower the price of gasoline and diesel fuel to $1.75 a gallon. I realize that without the work of independent
truckers that most of the food and products that I buy would disappear.

I read about independent truck drivers slowing down traffic to protest
high fuel prices and some of them getting arrested. I have an effective way to protest high fuel prices and not get arrested.

I realize that those who drive a truck mainly use diesel fuel and
I don't know if Exxon/Mobil sells diesel fuel and I doubt if
gas stations repair trucks but Truckers have families and friends who pay high prices for gasoline. The phone calls I tell people to make will affect Exxon/Mobil gas station owners mainly
who will have to go to the parent company Exxon/Mobil and get them to lower prices or the gas station owners will lose money from lost car repair business and gasoline sales and food sales. The individual gas station owners make it possible for Exxon/Mobil and others to reap high profits so we legally can go after these gas station owners by boycotting them especially not getting cars repaired there in which they make their most money.

Get as many people to make these phone calls. Yes, bring this to the general public too.

Call many local Exxon/Mobil gas stations and tell the manager that you
will not get your car repaired there, nor will you buy gasoline there
until their parent company sets their price so that they can sell you
gasoline and diesel fuel for $1.75 a gallon. Then only do business with
other gas stations until Exxon/Mobil lowers their prices. After Exxon/Mobil capitulates Then do business with Exxon Mobil and shift this tactic to another Oil company's gas station chain to get them to lower prices and so on.
We will no longer stand for $3 a gallon gasoline and diesel fuel.

I just wanted to thank you for everything you have said and put out there for everyone to see.. I am no longer able to be OTR with my husband but I miss it, Its a wonderful life. I hope what you are doing helps Maybe if we get these prices down i will be able to afford to go out on the road again.... KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

Professional drivers are asking American Citizens to participate with us in the "National Shut-Down"

This is an issue effecting all of us and we MUST take a stand NOW. Our government IS a major contributing factor in the outrageous price of fuel, and the struggle American citizens are experiencing making ends meet. We must take this action to get their attention. All other avenues has only fallen on deaf ears - our government is ignoring the will, and needs, of the American people.

(2 Million American Citizens Lose Their Homes)
(28 Million American Citizens Projected To Be On Food Stamp Programs)

Our government officials are eating good dinners, are living in beautiful homes, are driving brand new vehicles and are collecting large salaries...on the American Citizen's dollar. It's time to take our country back.

I've done THAT! I've bought stuff that now sits, never to be used...HAH here's one, I bought a Saws-all power tool a few months back, was wondering where it went to, well I found it this weekend, at the BOTTOM of my flooded basement!

For example, have u ever purchased something without planning for it? Then u discover that u really didnt want it. Or u planned to buy something but the store didn't have exactly what u wanted but u had to purchase something? Then u find out again that u don't even want it or it will not work for u. So if this is true for u as well,can we say that spending money can be emotional? Finally, why is this so and what can we do to prevent it?
